Gaming startup MetaShot raises $400K in pre-seed round

Bengaluru based gaming startup, MetaShot, raises $400K in a pre-seed funding round with participation from Inflection Point Ventures. An early-stage gaming focussed fund and prominent angels, including founders of Dineout – Ankit Mehrotra, Sahil Jain and Khalid Qazi were participated in this round.

The funds will be used for growing the tech team, scaling operations, investing in marketing and R&D.

MetaShot envisions a future where the thrill of sports extends to every household. By democratizing the console gaming industry, the startup is making metaphysical gaming devices accessible to a wide spectrum of households.

COO Ranjit Behera, an alumnus of IIM Bangalore and NIT Rourkela, boasts a strong background in growth and marketing strategy, with a history at companies like MyGate, Aditya Birla, and BankBazaar, and holds two patents. Meanwhile, CFO Ajith Sunny brings a robust background in sales and operations, having held senior roles across various industries, including logistics and real estate.
